Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Priya and I am a PhD candidate in neuroimmunology and drug discovery at Purdue University. My research is focused on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in neuroinflammation and the role of microglial cells in Alzheimer’s disease. You can read more about my research here.
I created this blog when I was a Master’s student investigating the structural and functional characteristics of potassium ion channels and wanted to write about my research interests. Currently, this blog is my little corner on the web where I talk about my grad school experience along with other things that I find interesting. Besides being a curious lab rat, I am also passionate about photography, traveling, and reading. Feel free to talk to me here or on twitter. You can also email me at email@example.com Cheers!
